Event Details:

After a two-year hiatus, we are pleased to announce the return of the Latornell Conservation Symposium in-person event in 2022!

Join us at the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG) on Monday, October 17th and Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 in Burlington, Ontario. We will also be hosting several webinars throughout the fall, to ensure we can connect with our broader conservation community across Ontario.

Registration is now open to attend the re-imagined two-day symposium. Find details of what is covered in the registration fee here! Please note that registration covers both days (October 17th and 18th). Registration will remain open until September 30th, 2022, or until the event capacity is complete.

Registration Details:

In order to best serve each attendee, you will be required to complete a suite of questions on the registration page. It is important that each guest select their preferred field trip / workshop for Monday, October 17th, 2022 (if applicable), as well as their preferred concurrent sessions. For details on the options for field trips, workshops and concurrent sessions, please refer to the 2022 program here

Payment for registration is the final step in this process. Prior to completing the registration please note the following:

  1. Payment is only accepted using VISA or Mastercard through the registration system. Please contact Karen Anderson should you have any questions.
  2. Refunds will be processed after the event. Please review the "Registration Cancellations and Refunds" details here
  3. Should you no longer be able to attend, but would like to substitute your spot with a colleague, please contact Karen Anderson and provide the information found in the registration questions (should any field trip or plenary sessions differ from the previous choices).

Please note that we have some funding available for those who self-identify as Indigenous and have financial barriers to attending the conference. This funding can cover costs of registration, travel, and accommodation and is provided on an as-needed basis. Please email Karen@allsetinc.com if you self-identify as Indigenous and require this financial support.

This funding is generously provided by TD Friends of the Environment Foundation.
